Blue Spring State Park
BLUE SPRING, THE BIGGEST SPRING ON THE ST. JOHNS RIVER, IS A TRUE MARVEL!
It's not only a designated Manatee Refuge, but also the cozy winter abode (November - March) of a thriving and expanding community of West Indian Manatees.
Prepare to be charmed by these gentle giants as they bask in the clear waters of spring. But there’s much more to enjoy at this park! Seasonal activities include swimming, tubing (April - November), and canoeing, as well as narrated river cruises and Segway tours for those who prefer a stylish way to explore. You can also take a stroll along the scenic trails or relax at one of the picnic pavilions.
