CoolCraft Christmas Transforms West Volusia into a Winter Wonderland

As no two snowflakes are the same, no two CoolCraft Christmas beverages are the same.

Get ready to step into a Winter Wonderland all across West Volusia. West Volusia Tourism’s award-winning CoolCraft Christmas returns for its fourth year with a monthlong celebration of handcrafted holiday beverages from more than 20 local breweries, coffee shops, wineries, ice cream shops, and cocktail lounges. From Black Friday, November 28, through December 31, this shimmering trail of seasonal cheer invites visitors to sip, collect signatures, and enjoy a cool Christmas adventure.

As no two snowflakes are the same, no two CoolCraft beverages are the same, with this year’s trail offering a blizzard of creative holiday drinks. Guests can dive into alcohol-free sips like Trilogy Coffee Roasting Co.’s “Pas De Sugar Plum,” the Old Sugar Mill Pancake House’s “Mistletoe Kiss,” or The Club at DeLand’s “Gingerbread Man Protein Shake.” Alcoholic options include The Salted Goat’s “Old Fashioned Fruitcake” and Chica’s Cuban Cafe’s “Abuela’s Coquito.” Every stop adds its own twist, making this year’s CoolCraft Christmas the most flavorful yet.

This year, the artisans take center stage. Just as each of the 23 beverages across West Volusia is handmade with care, the CoolCraft Christmas Card was created in the same spirit. Designed in-house using an original linoleum block print, the card doubles as a CoolCraft passport, with activities like a word search, a maze, and other fun extras. Visitors can collect signatures at participating locations, and once they have at least five, redeem their completed card at the West Volusia Visitor Center for a free collectible Christmas ornament.

“CoolCraft Christmas has become a cherished tradition for both locals and visitors,” said Georgia Turner, Executive Director of the West Volusia Tourism Advertising Authority, “and this year the trail is embracing its craftyness. From the design of the Christmas card to the creativity of the beverages themselves, CoolCraft Christmas is the perfect companion to West Volusia’s holiday attractions.”
