Living History Day

History will come to life at this family-friendly event, featuring a replica of George Washington’s Headquarters Tent, Native American culture and heritage in the Southeast, a Civil War re-enactment camp, historical presentations, Victorian games and crafts, food, and more!

Tour the 154-year-old winter hunting lodge of the DeBary family and visit with re-enactors portraying various family members, including Frederick DeBary.
Tours available at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM.

Admission prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for children aged 3 to 12, and free for children 2 years old and younger. Tickets may be purchased in the Visitor Center on Saturday, March 14.

Find out What’s Under the Dress from local historian Keri Stewart as she explains the history of each layer of the dresses worn by women of the mid-1800s in this entertaining presentation in the Theater.
