See Barberville Pioneer Settlement in a whole new light—under the stars!
As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration, the Settlement is partnering with the Lowell and Nancy Lohman Planetarium at The Brown for Pioneers Under the Stars, a special after-dark adventure combining history and astronomy.
Explore the night sky through high-powered telescopes, enjoy stargazing stories and pioneer demonstrations, and discover how early pioneers used the stars to navigate long before GPS. Once darkness falls, Planetarium Director Seth Mayo will lead a live outdoor tour of the night sky.
