The award-winning CoolCraft Christmas Beverage Trail returns for its fifth year with a storybook twist! From November 6 through December 31, 2026, local craft beverage makers are bringing beloved Christmas books and movies to life with festive drinks, imaginative stories, and a little West Volusia holiday magic.
Inspired by the historic Athens Theatre's holiday production of A Christmas Story, this year's theme, CoolCraft Christmas Stories, invites you to sip your way through the season while discovering a new chapter of holiday cheer at every stop.
A Holiday Story in Every Glass
What happens when your favorite holiday classics meet West Volusia's creative beverage makers? A delicious new chapter in holiday storytelling!
Each participating CoolCrafter has created an exclusive seasonal beverage inspired by a beloved Christmas book or movie. Every drink comes with a specially crafted, bite-sized story that puts a West Volusia twist on a holiday classic.
The storytelling doesn't stop there! This year's CoolCraft Christmas Card features beautiful hand-painted watercolor illustrations created by the Visit West Volusia team. The cover showcases the historic Athens Theatre, while the inside includes playful holiday activities, including a Mad Libs and a custom word scramble.
It's all part of a handcrafted holiday experience celebrating the creativity of our local beverage community.

Here's how it works:
Pick up your card at the West Volusia Visitor Center, Athens Theatre, or any participating CoolCraft location.
Explore the trail, purchase a featured holiday beverage, enjoy its story, and collect a signature.
Collect 6 signatures to earn a FREE commemorative CoolCraft Christmas ornament!
Bring your completed card to the West Volusia Visitor Center at 116 W. New York Avenue in Downtown DeLand to claim your ornament. Can't stop by? Email a photo of the inside of your completed card and your mailing address to info@visitwestvolusia.com, and we'll mail your ornament to you.
(The Visitor Center is open Monday–Thursday, 9 am–5 pm, and Friday, 9 am–4 pm.)
